Two solicitors from Hull-based commercial solicitors, SJP Law, attended the Eurojuris International Congress in Brussels from 12th - 14th October 2017, with over 200 lawyers travelling from all over the world.
The theme of the Congress was looking at future technologies and understanding what the next generation will be capable of and how the working environment will change and evolve. The talks by Paul Redmond and Nell Watson provided plenty of thought provoking discussions on how to adapt and plan for the ever changing world of technology and how these emerging technologies will impact the legal profession.
“We have built up a strong network of colleagues through Eurojuris and these events provide the opportunity to strengthen them further and build new relationships throughout the world. It also allows us to share knowledge on the challenges and opportunities law firms face in different jurisdictions and that helps to shape our business planning to build a stronger future.” commented Claire Charman, Director at SJP Law.
“With Brexit looming large we are well positioned to help companies with cross border legal issues. We have relationships with partner law firms across Europe and further afield. Legal detail is country specific, and we are able to explain the issues to our clients in plain English without them having to worry about language barriers.” commented a solicitor.
If you have any questions on International legal issues please call Claire Charman on 01482 324591 who would be happy to assist.
