Philip is an Associate Director in the Commercial Division specialising in advising medical practices, national and international owner-managed businesses, as well as charity, not for profit and voluntary organisations. He is a member of the Association of Partnership Practitioners, a multi-disciplinary organisation of advisers to partnerships and professional service firms.

Having qualified in 1987, Philip joined SJP Law in 2019 with over 30 years of legal experience. Philip is a very experienced corporate and commercial solicitor. His clients really appreciate the technical knowledge, drive and commercial focus that he brings to his work.

Philip is known for his ability to advise on a range of challenging and complex issues, with a specialised knowledge on developments within the healthcare arena. He is a member of the Primary Care Premises Forum, an association of private sector organisations and individuals with extensive specialist knowledge of the provision of primary care premises throughout the UK, established to promote best practice within this specialist area of expertise.

He advises clients in all sectors and regularly deals with corporate transactions, joint ventures, company shareholder and partnership issues, business ownership succession planning, contracts and intellectual property, commercial agreements, and commercial and healthcare real estate matters.
