Simon Gittings and Riverside

The landmark Riverside Building and its progress from a green space, illustrates the importance of having experienced legal and property advice throughout the whole development process and beyond.

From the beginning of the purchasing route, particular guidance was required to make a commercial assessment of the restrictive covenants and third party rights on the land.  Those issues would have an impact on the future use and profitability of any building programme and required careful negotiations to find the best solution for all parties involved.

Following the successful planning permission process and securing European Regional Development Grant funding, Stamp Jackson and Procter’s commercial property team provided a full range of development, landlord and tenant services for the developer.  The first tenants were welcomed to the building under agreements that ensured a secure future for the landlord while providing the tenants with offices they required.  In addition our team assisted with the developer’s relocation to their new building and the disposal of their old offices.  From that success position the team are looking forward to welcoming further tenants to the development in the near future.
