The ICE Regulations

The Information and Consultation of Employees (ICE) Regulations will be expanded in April 2008 to cover smaller businesses.  From 6 April 2008, these regulations will apply to organisations and individual companies with 50 or more employees and give employees the right to be informed and consulted on issues that affect their future.

Failure to respond to a request from employees who wish to be consulted could lead to the organisation being fined up to £75,000.

To avoid being fined there are set procedures and time limits that should be followed in responding to a request.  We can manage the process for you and explain, step-by-step, what needs to be done.  For further details of the ICE regulations, please contact Alistair Latham or Mark Daubney on 01482 324591.
